Midgard is Iceland’s first all-inclusive fan convention. Meaning our target audience is not any specific fandom, but rather any fans of video games, board games, table top games, cosplay, books, comics, TV, movies, and any other possible fandom.
Iceland has had a massive demand for a convention of this type for many years, with questions on when an event of this type will be held, coming in very regularly in the store of one of our founders, Nexus.
Midgard 2018 was a huge success, with coverage from all national media.
We reached maximum capacity for all event days.
Midgard is a multi day event, with exhibitors showing off their games or wares, vendors selling cool items, artists showing their art, panels about many different topics, workshops, special guests, and much more.
In addition we have multiple competitions and tournaments, like the Icelandic Cosplay Championship, Warhammer 40k tournaments, X-wing tournaments, board game competitions, as well as many others.
Our team consists of members from Nexus, Cosplay Iceland, and the Nordic Cosplay Championship – team Iceland, and has over 30 years experience with conventions and events.
We are dedicated to providing a safe, entertaining and welcoming home for fans of all genres.
